Would you like to try?

Do you like smooth-groomed golf course lawns? Are you tempted by the game of golf, but haven't found the courage and time yet? Are you worried that investing in golf equipment might be pointless if golf doesn't capture your heart?

We have a great solution for you. You can try hitting balls on our Driving Range or gentle work with the club when finishing the hole on the putting green. We will lend you clubs completely for free and you can borrow 30 golf balls for just 2 EUR.

Did you left your clubs at home?

Did you go on vacation but left the bags with your clubs at home? Or have you had enough of lounging in the wellness area and want to stretch yourself? If you have a green card, we will be happy to lend you a whole set of clubs for just 32 EUR.

Gary Player

Author of the design at Cihelny golf course.

Golf Legend of the world, nicknamed as the BLACK KNIGHT. He won 24 PGA Tour tournaments and Master Tournament three times, in 1961, 1974 and 1978. He became champion of the US Open in 1965 and three times winner of  The Open Championship.  He won the PGA Championship twice and was the third golfer in history to achieve a career professional grandslam.

The first victory of the PGA Tour in 1961 was a historic breakthrough in the world of golf, as Gary Player became as the first non-US winner. In 1974, Gary Player was inducted into the International Golf Hall of Fame. 

Gary Player is a personality who still motivates and supports many beginners and experienced athletes. To this day, he is a great athlete and perhaps that is why he got the nickname Mr. Fitness. Today he focus on the design of golf courses and Cihelny has the honor to present you the only course in the Czech Republic designed by Gary Player.

Improve your swing on driving range

The Driving Range is one of the key parts of our golf resort, with practice areas also available – greens for putting and chipping.

The Driving Range offers practice from both outdoor and 12 covered teeing bays. All teeing bays are equipped with tee mats, with teeing directly from grass also available.
